The differences between Chinese teachers and foreign teachers
Do you know the differences between Chinese teachers and foreign teachers? I have been in the Lambton College for more than a year, I meet some foreign teachers. They also like Chinese teacher is responsible, lovely teachers. They are different in teaching style and emphases. Chinese teachers like high mark and always keep cool, foreign like students develop all things. Although different country have different culture, they are all good teacher.
I had meet about five foreign teachers, and about one hundred Chinese teachers. They have some differences, but they are all responsible to student. For example, we always have homework every day, every teacher teach tow class students, they all
have busy woke to check on homework. But every teacher do duteous, never pass any particulars. Second, every teacher is very serious in study. They are professional, keep specialty in any questions, keep equity in exam.
Contrast Chinese teachers and foreign teachers most is differences. First,
teaching style is a distinct differentia. Because special culture and history in china,
teacher always keep serious, so much as is severe. From of old Chinese teachers could use “hit” method to punish students who make a mistake. Have nothing is perfect, not only this way could bring pain, but also bring good effect. But inspiration and creativity also vanish with that. Something I know about foreign teachers, they worship freedom in study, everything you learn is by yourself, teacher teach you knowledge take up less ten percent you learn in library. When we give a class in
foreign teachers we can sit at random, and we always have a group cloud three or less

122131 James 500Astudent, we can talk random in class. Foreign teacher don’t teach student very clearly, they often give student plenty time to study.
Another statement is that Chinese teachers tends to focus more on the marks of their students since there are millions of students competing with each
other and trying to get in the limited schools. They are more concerned just like the parents
whether the students can get in. In addition, the teachers are also more care about the graduation rate of the school. If there are more students who can graduate and get into those advanced schools, they may get some bonus salaries and good reputations for the school, and themselves. On the other hand, the foreign teachers are more
concerned about the students on if they can develop fully, they care more on their behaviors and social abilities to adapt the outside world of schools.
Though there are differences between Chinese teachers and foreign teachers, we can’t say what is good or what is bad. In fact, every teacher is good teacher like angle. As a student, we just do what should we do, that’s enough.
